To create the Kawa Pendant for Souda, Luft Tanaka slip cast porcelain directly into dozens of leather molds resulting in highly-unique ceramic shades. Once Luft arrived at the perfect shape, Souda worked with an industrial production partner where replicas of Luft's original concept are produced. The finalized pendant lights are dynamic and highly-unusual, emitting a soft glow that works well individually or in clusters.
